British scientists gear up for ExoMars mission

Scientists have announced that work has started on instruments for a future mission to Mars set for 2018.
The ExoMars rover is a joint project between NASA and the European Space Agency, it will study the chemical, geological and possible biological environment of Mars in preparation for future missions there.
Scientists today announced the start of work on instruments that will be used in a new mission to Mars in 2018. Academics from the University of Leicester are among a group of scientists working on the high-tech equipment for the ExoMars mission.
