In an effort to seek out the giant anaconda Mike and Greg are planning a return to the Peruvian Amazon.
The pair believe they had discovered evidence of a 40m long snake in the Amazon during their previous expedition in 2009.

The video link shows Mike Warner announcing our Funding Campaign for our return ground expedition to sites 1 & 2 in the Peruvian Amazon and releases extraordinary information which has never been made public before today. Mike has also decided to make a series of full disclosure videos and release all his research to support his claims.

Yeah, that seeems a bit too huge to be true. But I can certainly imagine that there are snakes living in the jungles of Africa and South America that are twice the size of the largest known anacondas or pythons (that would be something like 50-60 feet) Btw, it aren't just big snakes they are looking for, they assume it may be a totally different animal altogether. I found a site which has a bit more info on this 'Yacumama' : http://www.salem-news.com/articles/august162010/monster-amazon-ta.php Oh, 50 or 60 feet? Maybe. . . that would be the upper limit I would expect of any mammoth snake. 40 w... [More]

First off why even bring bible thumping or creationist into the conversation of a few guys looking for a giant snake. Thats ridiculous and doesn't even have anything to do with the conversation at hand. Anyway, the giant snake is one of the few cryptids, if you can call it that, that I think could exist. Now some claim it to be a completely different species while others seem to think it is just a rather huge specimen of an already known species. I tend to lean toward the second opinion, but giant snakes are recorded in the fossil record so who knows. I find it odd though that anyone who bring... [More]

Thats ridiculous and doesn't even have anything to do with the conversation at hand. Maybe not in this case but it's always important for cryptozoological research to know something about the background of people. Anyway, the giant snake is one of the few cryptids, if you can call it that, that I think could exist. Not if you're talking about a 100 ft snake. Also the snakes of the past grow not that long for example Titanoboa was only estimated for a maximum length of 40 to 50 ... [More]

Did you miss it? The man in the video used biblical references and prophecy as evidence to support his giant snake's existence. The only groups that I know of that use the bible and religious doctrine as scientific reference's to support their twisted world view are bible thumping c... [More]

Therefore my comment has everything to do with the topic at hand. The man is asking us to fund his expedition based on his religious belief, stories/hearsay, and a photo of logs on a mud ban... 100ft. long snake? No I don't believe there is a snake of that size slithering around on this planet. 40ft, well maybe. Either way I find it an interesting subject. I also don't take into consideration these people's religion. I take into consideration that they are looking for a big freakin snake. If they believe it exists and want to believe this and use religion to back it up well then more power to them. They are not forcing anyone to believe. Not even you bible burning, no moral having, heathen atheists. LOL.

40 ft I agree. But for now I lean back and relax and wait what they bring home. Maybe this time it is a dead body, a skin, a skull or some other hard evidence beside dubious pictures in which no one (well... most people ) beside them can see super-snakes or evidence for super-snakes.

I don't agree with a 40ft snake. i think that there are snakbger then that over 60 ft wh was fnd dead or killed and that our earhs cimate isheating up where snake are now becomeing larger. and they sait uld be a new species of animal. and now thai think about it a giant snake could be considered a serpant. which a... How would the heating of certain places in the earth, increase the size of snakes through evolution. A smaller body absorbs less heat. But, a snake being cold blooded may Want more heat IF, it was a cooler place. Being a warmer place, it wouldnt need to be larger to absorb more, as it can already get enough.
