I'm with ohio state buckeyes here (about it being bizarre that anyone would shoot at a UFO, not about the world's interpretation of the acronym UFO, which I think he's wrong about)- It makes me so angry that UFO have been shot at... I've seen a few similar comments on different forums, where someones saying "even if it was a UFO, as if our weapons would stand a chance against theres" .. thats true, but you can't expect every UFO to be equipped with advanced weaponry! its not like every plane is.. just pointing out.. & IF it was a UFO, why shoot it down at the risk of infuriating an advanced race!! If something is in your airspace without permission, it is intercepted, if it fails to acknowledge its intentions or reasons for being there, its considered hostile. Most countries will scramble their jets at least once a week because someone has (usually unintentionally) wandered into their airspace.
