Satanism surge adds to demand for exorcists

The Roman Catholic Church has warned that a rise in Satanism has produced a rise in demand for exorcists.
Blaming the trend on easy access to information about Devil-worshipping on the internet the Vatican is holding a six day conference on the topic in Rome this week aimed at scrutinising Satanism and highlighting its risks. "The internet makes it much easier than in the past to find information about Satanism," says Carlo Climati who specialises in the dangers the practice poses to young people.
The web has made it easier than ever before to access information on Devil-worshipping and the occult, experts said. Exorcism is the subject of a six-day conference being held this week at the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical University in Rome, which is under the Vatican's authority.

They're not all that way, I promise, trust me. Your point? What when you said they shouldn't use Satan and instead the beast? You'll have to tell me why you like the beast better, you just said you did, I don't know why really. You know as much as you've posted against the Bible God, this kind of surprises me you'd be against the symbol of his rival, lol. The biblical god acts like a satanist, heartless, proud, sadistic, ego ego ego.

The biblical god acts like a satanist, heartless, proud, sadistic, ego ego ego. So say we're talking Gods here, like we believe in them, well then maybe that God was on a mission to enslave mankind and Satan is about breaking those bonds and chains that bind you, the Prometheus who brought fire to man and was punished by a God who wanted to keep man low and in the dark. That's the philosophy of it I agree with, but I have a little rebellious spirit.

Chances are if you are a satanist, then you will be seen as like someone belonging to the manson family, Why would anyone want to be known like that. I've even seen resemblances in the satanists I knew.

I've know a few satanists, it is stupidity. They show no respect to practically everyone, they treat their wives like crap, they are abusive and take pleasure in it. Ya and no christian would ever do such a thing because they believe in god. Give us a break. Seems your knowledge of satanism has come from hollywood and I doubt you know any satanist.

I've even seen resemblances in the satanists I knew. Manson thought he was Jesus, Manson used lyrics from the Beatles in ref to revelations in the bible. To me that makes Manson a disturbed christian not a satanist.

They shouldn't have to define themselves by what other people think they are. There's a lot in the philosophy of it that they align with is why.

You're right and that David Koresh from Waco here, he thought he was the returning Messiah too and he was molesting kids and burnt them all up, me thinks Satanists aren't the ones we need to be worried about.

As I understand it and what I've been told, a lot of LaVeyan Satanism is based on Objectivism: Objectivism is a philosophy defined by the Russian-American philosopher and novelist Ayn Rand (1905–1982). Objectivism holds that reality exists independent of consciousness, that human beings have direct contact with reality through sense perception, that one can attain objective knowledge from perception through the process of concept formation and inductive and deductive logic, that the proper moral purpose of one's life is the pursuit of one's own happiness or rational self-interest, that the o... People DO realize that 'satanism' is really "atheism for punks who like symbolism that shocks others and like making the religious uncomfortable with the word 'satanism'"? Actually no, Satanism isn't just a bunch of Atheist-punks who like symbolism that shocks others. There are a few promanent and powerful people in this world who are Satanists. Hardly what you would call punks. These are very rich and powerful men who generally don't advertise the fact that they are Satanists. Usually they pretend that they are Christians or Jewish, so that they don't seem so threatening. Wolves in sheeps clo... [More]

I classify every criminal gang as being satanist, they might not read the satanic bible (some probably do), but their outlook on life is about the same. Very fascist and nihilistic outlook. Nihilistic definition: embracing anarchy, terrorism, and destruction: Example: nihilstic tactics learned in a terrorist bootcamp.
