Anyone suffering from arachnophobia may want to steer clear of Santo Antônio da Platina for a while.
In a scene reminiscent of something from a horror movie, enormous quantities of spiders have been filmed dangling en masse from overhead electrical cables and pylons in Brazil. In the video the sizable arachnids appear to be working together to build a large network of webs.
While it isn't clear what species this is or why there are so many in one place, several known types of spiders have been documented to co-operate and to work in colonies.

not sure why it says "raining" more likely they have come from the ground which some human has dug up to build a new supermarket. These poor little creatures have to live somewhere. Good on them, love spiders. PS: it is unlucky to kill a spider.
lol they are trapped under all those spiders! Looks like they are making giant web dome! So, they gonna need a flamethrower to kill all those spiders at once!
This would freak me out! It's crazy! I hate spiders! I will not be able to stand there and watch. Just watching the video has me all freaked out. Suddenly I feel like things are climbing all over me.
The right environment for spiders to thrive endlessly without the natural limits spiders encounter in other places of the world. Deserts are thriving with relatively more horrid species of spiders, most notably the Black Widow...and other arachnids such as scorpions and vinegaroons survived 100s of millions of years in warmer climates.
