Strange Golden Light during Lightning Storm

Uploader comment: This image was taken during a very powerful lightning storm. I was just taking random photos of the night time sky hoping to get a good photo of a Lightning Bolt by timing it just right. This image was taken with a ipod touch and not a digital camera. The Street Lamps were not on and there were no Cars out on my street that night. I do not know what this light is. Any weather experts commenting would be useful.

If it's not a fixed light source like you say, my best guess is the lightning storm created a discharge on an electrical device. Or it could possibly be the rare phenomena of ball lightning. How did the light behave?
