Uploader comment: Broad swirls of dust traveled across China in early April, 2012, covering the East Sea with broad brown bands as well as covering parts of China, North Korea, Russia and Japan with a fine yellow dust. The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) that flys aboard the Terra satellite captured this true-color image on April 9, 2012 at 0210 UTC (1:10 pm Vladivostok Time).
