Global warming creating bigger spiders ?

A new report based on a study of wolf spiders in Greenland has revealed that one of the lesser known downsides of global warming is the potential for spiders to grow to enormous sizes and increase substantially in population.
A group of Danish scientists wondered whether global warming would make the hairy, meat-eating wolf spiders of northeastern Greenland bigger, since longer summers mean more hunting time."

I suspect from reading the other giant spider thread that this isn't news everybody will enjoy hearing! Do we really need that to get any bigger? But that's probably irrelevant anyway, as the article is actually talking about Greenland.

I hope not. Because I'll just end up killing them all. I prefer the sizes of the spiders now. ^^ Thank you.

Check please... table one... *strokes out* I'm with you ......... I hate spiders. and I've noticed for a few years here in Michigan they have increased and gotten bigger. where Brown recluse ones were rare up here compared to down south now there are more of them.

Is that the reason bedbugs are all over the place again now also?

we the community who doesn't like spiders that much thank you for the article, xD It has taught us to prepare well.. xD -Bx lol ! I know spiders are beneficial... they rid us of countless insects and medically are very positive , but I was once told that at any given moment you are no more than 5 feet away from a spider ? shudder If they ( and centipedes ) stay outside and away from me when I'm outside ( nothing like walking into a web or web strand) we'd be ok with each other.
