Ghosts of the Santa Rita Hotel

The Santa Rita Hotel in Tucson has sparked great interest due to its share of ghost stories and haunting reports. The hotel is due to be sold to an electric company who plan on demolishing it, prompting some to believe that its ghostly residents are not too pleased about it.
As if Downtown renewal wasn't enough of a horror story, now some say ghosts have taken over the doomed Santa Rita Hotel. As owner Humberto Lopez prepares to sell the beleaguered, graffiti-tagged property to Tucson Electric Power, which plans to have the building demolished, the possible current spiritual tenants may be doing a little spooky protesting."

I wouldn't be suprised if it was haunted in some way or another. The downtown Tucson area has been inhabited for about 2 thousand years I think. Any place you dig a hole there you will find pottery shards. I would have loved to walk around there 500 years ago when the rivers ran and the place was green. My best guess for ghosts at this hotel would be of the crackhead type right now. They need to tear it down (again).
