Hey DW, does your chihuahua have any bathroom issues? When we take ours outside, it takes about 30-45minutes each time, and she spins in a circle at least 20-30 times before going in the spot she chooses, sometimes she gets easily distracted which elongates the process. It's frustrating. No, she doesn't have any bathroom issues like that, but she does prefer to poop on the neighbors yard over her own. LOL

I'd have dogs over children any day lol. Maybe I've just met incredibly dense kids but on the whole my experiences would tend to confirm the study. I'm with you on that!

I think we got her too young, it doesn't help that she thinks that she's a cat either lol. I still haven't figured out how we can break her of her weird habits.

We had a cat too prior to getting the dog.

My dog likes cats better than she likes other dogs, to bad the cat doesn't feel the same way. The cat's coming around but the dog don't trust her, the cat has bonked her in the head one to many times. The dog likes one of the neighbor's cat they are good friends.

Wow, really? were you ever able to break your dog of all that? We had a cat too prior to getting the dog. Well we never really tried, it wasn't that much of a bother, it didn't take as long as you described, she was just very particular. She did love cats which always confused the cats, when our cat ran away she was devastated. She eventuallly did make another cat friend who always came to greet her when we went out, once she showed our dog a mouse she had caught it was very cute. She dropped it in front of her and sat down looking at our dog for a moment than took it and walked off again. Our... [More]
