Today's humans could actually be part neanderthal claims a new study suggesting neanderthals mated with our ancestors.
For a long time both neanderthals and modern humans lived alongside one another until eventually the neanderthals became extinct, the question of whether the two species would have bred however has long been a topic of debate amongst anthropologists.
Humans today could be part Neanderthal, according to a new study that found our ancestors interbred with an extinct hominid species some millennia ago. Neanderthals walked the Earth between about 130,000 and 30,000 years ago.
