The world's best-preseved Roman gladiator graveyard has been unearthed in England.
Over 80 skeletons have been uncovered at the site with many exhibiting signs of injuries consistant with those sustained by arena participants such as lion bite marks and blows to the head from blunt weapons.
The results of forensic work, announced today, on more than 80 skeletons of well-built young men, gradually exhumed from the gardens of a York terrace over a decade, suggests that the world's best-preserved gladiator graveyard has been found.

wow thats creepy even though today people don't say we have gruesome features for entertainment ...just look at tv...ugh sometimes I wonder have we really ever changed? I mean in some ways yes, and in other ways it seems like merely an illusion, change in format but it's still the same thing..if that makes sense
