New device pours beer from the bottom

GrinOn industries has developed the "Bottoms Up" pouring machine for the perfect pint every time.
The machine works by filling glasses through a hole in the bottom rather than by pouring from the top, a magnetic disk then seals the hole once the weight of the liquid is pumped in. Not only is it quicker than conventional methods but is able to produce a perfect head every time.
For anyone who has been to a music festival, a big gig - or even just a loaded bar full of thirsty punters, there's an invention that will make your life easier. . . and possibly a little bit drunker. It should also light up the dollar-signed eyes of bar owners everywhere.

Is there a problem with filling up a beer glass from the top? I'm not sure why this method is any better.

Is there a problem with filling up a beer glass from the top? I'm not sure why this method is any better. Did you watch the video? It fills a cup about 4 times faster than pouring from a top tap. It looks pretty cool too. Personally, I don't care how my cup is filled with beer, just as long as it is filled.

Is there a problem with filling up a beer glass from the top? I'm not sure why this method is any better. I agree. Although it is a preety neat invention, I don't see how it makes pouring beer from the bottom any better than from the top.

Is there a problem with filling up a beer glass from the top? I'm not sure why this method is any better. I also thought the same thing but I cannot give any comment on this because I don't drink beer. But after watching this video I will consider to try it.

It prides itself on the fact that the machine pours a perfect beer in record time, and its website shows videos of laymen beer pourers dispensing up to more than 50 beers in one minute. But that's faster then I can swallow... Just think how much more beer they could sell to with faster service. I went to a festival a few months ago and spent almost 15 minutes waiting in line for a single beer.

It also removes any chance of a rookie pourer handing you a beer that's as much head as it is liquid.

Is there a problem with filling up a beer glass from the top? I'm not sure why this method is any better. 1. it's 2-3 times faster than pouring from the top and when you're waiting in line at an ultra busy bar, or a sporting event, you'll get your drink in 5 minutes rather than 10. 2. it pours a more consistent beer in terms of volume. 3. there's no more waste, as you can't accidentally get a beer that's half foam where the tender has to pour off half the foam and waste it. It's a brilliant little device really.

In France, we'll get to see this machine in 40 or 50 years.. then it will be banned because the bartender union will claim it makes them work to much

Well I was a bartender for 3 years, and I can fill a glass of beer in 4 to 5 seconds with little to no head. So ummm yeah this so called invention is rubbish!!!!
