The Discovery Channel are filming in Alberta following claims that a "bigfoot colony" is located there.
Sylvanic Bigfoot group's Todd Standing is convinced that the area is home to not only one mysterious primate but a whole colony of them. While his claims and photographs have come under a great deal of skepticism over the years, it hasn't stopped the TV series "Finding Bigfoot" from wanting to get in on the action with an upcoming episode based on his discoveries.
“When I first started, I was a skeptic, but not anymore — now I’m a wholehearted believer in the species,” said Todd Standing, spokesman for the Sylvanic Bigfoot group. Standing’s allegations of a Bigfoot colony living near the border of Banff and Kootenay national park will raise many eyebrows, but his evidence has piqued the interest of the Discovery Channel.

I agree, somewhat similar to a remark said to be made by Thomas Huxley. Thank you for the nice complement vitruvian12. I assure you I was not tying to plagiarize him. I will have to look that up.

In a debate with some Darwin opponents. wiki Thanks vitruvian12 . http://bing.search.sympatico.ca/?q=huxley%20to%20bishop&mkt=en-ca&setLang=en-CA "I asserted—and I repeat—that a man has no reason to be ashamed of having an ape for his grandfather. If there were an ancestor whom I should feel shame in recalling it would rather be a man—a man of restless and versatile intellect—who, not content with an equivocal success in his own sphere of activity, plunges into scientific questions with which he has no real acquaintance, only to obscure them by an aimless rhetoric, and distract... Lake Miniiwanka can be accessed by every square foot of that lake. It;s a fishermans paradise and pleasure boater galore for the view. I will bet this clip I show here makes it on the discovery channel mockumentry. This viseo is as real as the next. The reason you can run around in a suit is that you can not hunt in the park and if coaght you probably will be sent to Alcatraz lol. Probably the same guy to.

Thanks for answering. Do you believe this due to religious reasoning or a scientific one? Do you believe in evolution or something else? I combine both evo and religion. I still believe that the Great Apes and Humans came from a different string of evolution. Again, it is the 2% diff that I feel supports this. JMO

JMO Hmmm, I am answering my own post? LOL Look, I never say never but I always keep my eyes and mind on an open plane. This is how we learn. I just saw this and it shocked me. I am looking into this discovery. I thought you guys might be interested in this new find of a change in our lineage during evolution. http://news.yahoo.com/closest-human-ancestor-may-rewrite-steps-evolution-141606435.html

You do realize it is assuming a common ancestor between us and modern apes, which you just said you dont believe.

It seems an odd article for you to post. You do realize it is assuming a common ancestor between us and modern apes, which you just said you dont believe. I always keep my eyes wide open and my mind as well. What I believe can change with research and proof. I learned a long time ago, never say never. I like to keep my mind like a sponge and then sort it all out in my own time. We will see.
