No, this isn't a Bigfoot skull. Image Credit: YouTube / Brave Wilderness
The video, which shows the discovery of an alleged Sasquatch skull, has revealed the entire thing to be a hoax.
Yesterday we reported on the claim that the wildlife enthusiast and presenter had discovered a Bigfoot skull in the forests of British Columbia and had smuggled it back to the US through customs.
Photographs posted up on his Facebook page, which were uploaded as part of a teaser for his upcoming video about the discovery, managed to generate a great deal of interest online.
Today the full video has also been posted up (viewable below) and predictably, it turns out that the 'discovery' of the skull was never actually intended to be genuine.
Instead, Peterson presents it within the video as a "what if scenario".
According to experts who analyzed the skull based on the earlier photographs, the prop used is most likely a cast of a gorilla skull - something that is generally widely available.
The Facebook photos (minus the hoax disclosure) were evidently posted up first as a publicity stunt.
Even though it doesn't show a genuine Bigfoot skull, however, the video itself is still worth a watch.
I should clarify that it is the top 10 of this site. https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/news/362838/unexplained-mysteries-top-10-cryptozoology-stories-of-2022 But your point stands.
Come on Dude, your going to tell me you have never wondered about the possibility, especially since you literally live at the edge of one of he largest most uninhabited expanses of mountain ranges in the entire United States that covers 15957.216 Sqaure miles in Washington, State alone. Even if you haven’t, have you ever Considered Climbing Mt.R the National Park Service use to organize climbs? I use to do a lot hiking up and around Mt.R and on few occasions while hiking I encountered similar signs. The National Park Service would put them up in Dangerous areas as a joke, where Danger Sig... [More]

I have wondered. Because that I have spent literally decades now out looking for anything that would make it real. Even on this recent tour of duty, I have spent a total of 6 months of leave/weekends out in the various areas where the creature is reported. Net results, absolutely nothing. I've climbed Rainier twice, Hood and Adams once a piece. I've hiked and camped all around the St. Helens and Gilbert Peak. I've also been all over the Olympic and Cascades. Equally resulting in nothing.
In late 1987, after a tour in Korea I was reassigned at Ft. Stewart, Georgia back home at the 24th Infantry Divisions Headquarters In the G-3 Plans and Operations Section. Well, things were great and I loved my job, until the Middle of 1988, when our daughter suffered an illness caused by Encephalitis, and suffered major brain damage. Because, of her condition I had to join the Exceptional Family Members program because based upon the requirements for the program her injury and the scale used to judge disabilities Sarah’s condition maxed the scale out. So, there were a very small number of M... [More]
I think a lot of "bigfoot tracks", in mud and snow especially, are bear tracks that are layered onto each other, with the back foot track eclipsing part of the front foot track. I've not been out in the woods a tremendous amount. I did spend a lot of time when I was a lot younger, and I also never saw anything that was "bigfoot"ish, except tracks that I'd made myself to scare my brother.
after months of trekking on donkeys in a foreign country, a German army captain discovered the gorilla... Why was it discovered? Because it really exists! When one considers the phenomenal tech we have today compared to then; Americans who believe bigfoot exists have yet to prove it= on their own doorstep- maybe bigfoot does exist & those searching are idiots. When you look at stuff logically one can only come to one conclusion=== bigfoot does not exist! With this 'logical/ rational thinking approach' one feels a need to rest one's case..... Oh well, let the fantasy carry on- & why n... [More]
I certainly agree with you and I believe my comments above state that. There are two reasons I disbelieve, one is archeological there has never been Great Ape fossil discovered in the Americas or anywhere truly near to the only crossing point they could have arrived from and that’s the Bearing Strait during the last major ice ages because a crossing would have had to have been recent since no fossil exist. The second reason is our technology today could be used to identify the creature in any locations worldwide. It doesn’t matter the terrain, whether conditions, day or night our aircraft ... [More]
