The clip, which shows a woman momentarily stop motionless, has racked up millions of views on TikTok.
Believed to have been recorded somewhere in the UK, the video simply shows a woman walking down the street before suddenly stopping motionless mid-stride, as though frozen in time.
For a few seconds, the unidentified pedestrian simply stands there - arms slightly outstretched at her sides - before suddenly carrying on walking as though nothing was ever amiss.
Slightly suspect is the fact that the camera zooms in on her at that exact moment, as though whoever was recording it had been expecting this to occur.
Exactly why anyone was recording at all at this particular moment remains unclear.
You can check out the clip for yourself in the video below.
Was this woman really 'frozen in time' or was the whole thing a clever hoax ?
That is a logical choice, of course, but I think it was a setup. I couldn't think of a cheaper, easier way to make a viral video. Record someone walking and then,... - brace yourself,,, *pausing* Â
How about this crazy idea. Whoever was filming pushed...pause...and then just edited it out several seconds. Hello people! There isn't anything else moving either...the only other thing moving in the video is an orange van and she is moving when it goes by.
I know right? How is it in the 21st century...today's 21st century that people believe anything on film. Wow...look...the bird is just floating in the air. Wow! Oh my god!!!! Look that lady is frozen in time...it's so eery! And what is viral anyway except a bunch of bored stupid people with apparently no life.
The earth is traveling at 67,000 miles per hour. If stuck in time...in two second she would be left behind for about 40 miles just on earth orbit. She would pass through the ground, destroying everything in her path. Adding our solar system rotation speed in our galaxy but also our galaxy expansion speed in the universe and you can imagine the disaster... The sun and the solar system appear to be moving at 200 kilometers per second in the milky way.
I was wondering if she was using bluetooth earbuds while talking to someone, paused to listen because the call was dropped, only to have the call start up again. Â
