Whoopi Goldberg: 'aliens have been here for quite some time'

Could Whoopi Goldberg have insider knowledge ? Image Credit: CC BY 2.0 Mark Taylor Being the actress who played the role of enigmatic, long-lived extraterrestrial Guinan in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Whoopi Goldberg certainly knows a thing or two about science fiction aliens.

As it turns out, however, she seems to know a thing or two about the real thing as well.

During a recent episode of The View, guest Kumail Nanjiani offered up a few tongue-in-cheek comments about the possibilities of extraterrestrial visitation.

"I think they're waiting for us to clean up a little bit so that they can come here and tell us we're really messing things up," she said.

In a surprising twist, Goldberg suddenly and quite calmly offered a matter-of-fact rebuttal."They're already here," she said. "They're already... They've been here for quite some time."

When Nanjiani asked her what they were doing, she replied - "They're watching us".

This isn't the first time Goldberg has hinted at knowing something about aliens.

Back in 2023, she reacted to the congressional hearing on UFOs - and in particular the claims regarding non-human entities - by stating that she "already knew" all about it.

So could Goldberg have some insider knowledge about UFOs and alien visitors ?

We may never know for sure.
