The popular reboot of the iconic TV series is returning once again with another set of perplexing enigmas.
The original run of 'Unsolved Mysteries' spanned a whole 14 seasons between 1987 and 2010 and is best remembered for its host Robert Stack (who sadly died in 2003) as well as its re-enactments of various mysteries, unexplained phenomena and unsolved criminal cases.

While the recent Netflix revival has mostly done away with the re-enactments, its eerie and suspenseful exploration of various unsolved cases has proven a major hit with viewers, with the show ranking number one in the US on the streaming service mere hours after its debut back in July 2020.

Since then, there have been several more seasons (or 'volumes') on the streaming platform.
The next one, Volume 5, will be debuting on October 2nd and will feature several more chilling mysteries ranging from true crime cases to long-running phenomena.

No episode list has been dropped so far, but from the trailer we can ascertain that the topics covered will include the Roswell Incident, cattle mutilations and ghosts.

There will also be at least one episode about a mysterious disappearance.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below.

"Unsolved Mysteries" is where I first learned about the Kecksburg UFO crash.

Watching just now Roswell incident episode. Interesting, but nothing new to hear or see. Was it the weather balloon or was it the UFO? The question is still unexplained.

The cattle mutilation episode was quite interesting, I wasn't aware that it was still such a big deal - I thought that phenomena had stopped years ago. Not sure what to make of the medium and his spirit guide, though. ? Kind of reminds me of Derek Acorah - he was saying a lot of same types of things.

Farm-Family In. still doesn't pay for cattle killed by natural causes.  So...."aliens".

It might have been a Project Mogul balloon. It sure as hell wasn't a weather balloon.
