Communities across Japan have recently been seeing a resurgent interest in the UFO phenomenon.
The recent interest in UFOs in the United States has sparked something of a surge in interest elsewhere in the world, with Japan in particular enjoying renewed enthusiasm for anything and everything to do with unidentified flying objects.

For instance, in Hakui, Ishikawa Prefecture - also known as "town of UFOs" - a recent UFO event at the local space museum was attended by some 2,000 people - a considerable spike in attendance for the attraction which had suffered a reduction in visitor numbers following a recent earthquake.

Meanwhile, a UFO research institute set up in the city of Fukushima has been at the center of an annual festival that has seen visitor numbers exceed 5,000 in recent years.

All across Japan, UFO-themed events have been used as part of regional revitalization strategies and there is even a nonpartisan parliamentary group focused on UAP research.
There have also been calls to set up a dedicated agency for such investigations.

"This trend may reflect a sense of social anxiety," said planetary scientist Junya Terazono of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

"With military conflicts and geopolitical tensions such as Russia's invasion of Ukraine and clashes occurring throughout the Middle East, the public is likely feeling uneasy about what might lurk above."

"There's this growing sense of tension and curiosity - perhaps we are starting to wonder if something might come flying our way."

Every space agency on the planet, along with astronomers and tens of thousands of amature skywatchers sure are ... 24/7.  Are they agreeing with you that we are being visited "night after night"???

Let me guess you are one of those that relies on authorities figures to tell you what's what? How naive of you...  As for myself I observe, make educated guesses, practice discernment and learn along the way. None blinder than him who wishes not to see... In any case, a quick online search will rapidly put your doubts to rest.

Science is far from naive. Its a tool we use for understanding the world around us. It is self correcting... "authorities figures" has nothing to do with it. ??? New age ramblings and word salad is not the same as being educated.   Fortune cookie?   You mean clicking the link to your blog? You dont find it strange,  or even care, that very few people agree with your claim that "we are being visited night after night"..?

I responded respectfully and articulately - since I have done from the very beginning - to your presumptions about "science" on this plane on a separate post, yet you keep resulting to personal attacks instead of engaging in the actual discussion. I am still awaiting an actual "logical" answer from you, though as I mentioned on the other post, I might just be expecting too much from you. Still you have my ears, if you manage to convey a "rational" answer to my message instead of your personal attacks, that is. Sleep on it and get back to me when you are able to convey a rational, intellectual ... [More]

It's all he has. He has taken negativity, pomposity, and rudeness to a whole new level. I suggest the ignore function. Many of us enjoy reading about new encounters. The ignore function makes it more enjoyable.

Cute little one-sighted horsy, just as I imagined... unable to perceive what's to be seen around him, so focused on stomping senselessly forward. Touché.

Why don’t you use the word little one more time tonight to describe other posters. No projection going on there.
