'Bigfoot' photobombs National Weather Service report in Pennsylvania

An unexpected figure was spotted during a recent report into severe weather damage in Fayette County.
Bigfoot seems to show up in the most unexpected of places - as evidenced recently by the creature's uninvited appearance in a National Weather Service report in Pennsylvania.

The report, which focused on a Fayette County neighborhood where storm damage had caused a tree to fall down in a resident's back yard, also seemed to include an unexpected extra (see above).

While the fallen tree was clearly visible in the foreground, eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot the unmistakable silhouette of a Sasquatch lurking in the woods in the background.
What's more, it seemed to be keeping a close eye on a man clearing up leaves in the nearby yard.

Not all was as it seemed, however, as it was later revealed that the 'Bigfoot' was in fact likely to be little more than a garden decoration - something that is apparently not uncommon in the state.

Pennsylvania has certainly seen its fair share of Bigfoot sightings over the years and is still considered to be one of the best places to go for those seeking evidence of cryptozoological bipeds.

This particular example, though, is definitely not the real deal.

It's far too clear to be a blobsquatch therefore MUST be fake!

Yeah, I could tell as soon as I saw it, it's identical to cutouts I've seen in people's yards.

Has anyone seen those Tascano (?) Sasquatch Garden Bigfoot statues? They are quite cool. Someone was flogging a 'life sized' one but it was out of my price range.

There is a guy nearby who has one plopped in the middle of his front yard.  It's Florida.  Big commitment there, but it's amusing.

The irony is, this particular article is still vastly more believable than the usual articles that send your ridiculous papameter flying off the scale like it was picking up gamma rays.

Funny isn't it, simply swap the part from the article about it being a known fake with some rando saying they saw it running through the yard and grabbed this pic and he would be tooth and nail defending it as "genuine".  The difference a random sentence from some possibly not even real person makes. Critical thinking is dead. Long live the age of believing every stupid thing you read.

Before I got to the end of the article, I figured it wasn't a real bigfoot because it's too thin.

My sister has one in her backyard (not the life size one). It's quite the conversation piece. She has another smaller one with BF carrying a couple of garden gnomes in her one flower bed.

That's what I thought.  Than I read it was a sign, or decoration.
