Bridgette and Paula Powers not only look alike, but they also speak simultaneously with remarkable accuracy.
The Australian sisters recently went viral after appearing in a 7News Queensland interview, during which they spoke about an armed carjacking incident that they had witnessed nearby.
But it wasn't what they were saying about the incident that caught people's attention - it was the fact that the two women seemed to speak at the same time and say exactly the same things.
It was sort of like watching the same person speaking in stereo.
The two women even mirrored each other's hand gestures as they recounted what happened.
It later turned out that this wasn't the first time that the twins had appeared on TV - they had also been featured in an interview on British morning television back in 2016.
Their ability to speak almost in perfect unison is quite something to behold.
This begs for controlled testing of telepathic abilities with these two subjects. They seem agreeable sorts. I'd even go there myself to test them with my level of curiosity and hook them up to Papameters.
They are NOT speaking spontaneously together. One is clearly leading the other. However, they have gotten good at it over the years, to the point where they can fool a lot of people by covering for each other. Multiple studies of this 'phenomenon' amongst twins were conducted back in the 70s and 80s and were debunked even then. I remember reading about it in The Unexplained Magazine under articles about the strange 'abilities' of twins. It's just a variant on the fake medium picking up on cues from a 'mark'.
My old man had “dealings” with them when he was a copper up that way (a two police town)… he says they’re nuts. Actually, bona fide “you will be put on involuntary mental health care” level nuts.
Yeah, one of the best examples of cold reading. Still the information is transferred non-verbally with amazing precision. But it's all colloquial language, I very much doubt they can speak about non-familiar subjects in the same manner.
