When she looked under the bed to allay the child's fears, she discovered there was a strange man hiding there.  Aaaaaaagggggggghhhhhh!

I was blessed that my older sister was familiar with the symptoms.  Two of my nieces have similar allergies.  Mom-knowledge to the rescue!    I was at the hospital for a couple of hours and was asked if I could stay until the Attending physicians made their "rounds" with Resident doctors in training so they could see a standard case of anaphylaxis.  I felt like an exhibit in a zoo

That had to be an adrenaline rush and fear overload.

Absolutely.  A scuffle ensued.  Yes, if I found a creep hiding under one of my kids beds.....you're damn right a scuffle would have ensued.  I would have been scuffling, and the creeper would be lucky to make it out of my place without broken bones, bloody nose, head trauma, death, or all of the above.

Bogey man? A bogey is when you shoot 1 over par on a hole. Why is there a farm and farmhouse in a big city like Charlotte?
